In 1990, when my late father, Jerry Libava became a franchise consultant/broker, he was actually one of the first to do so. By the time I joined him in 2001, there were hundreds. Now, there are probably thousands of us. Most work from home {Which is OK, I guess}, but they don't really work in their local community. They do what I call, The Telephone And Email Shuffle.
